If I could give you the world... I'd give you two.

So I guess lots have happened since I last updated. I've been on a buying spree. I can't stop ordering shit online. I bought this flash-type thing for my Game Boy Advance where I can download the games online and put them on the flash card and voila... I can play the game on my Game Boy. Then I bought a hard drive for my Playstation 2 and this program where I can install games from either CD or DVD (depending on the format) onto the hard drive. With that being said, I got myself a Blockbuster account and started renting games and installing them on my hard drive. I've also bought a shit load of DVDs. Most for me, some for Leigh. Today I just ordered a DVD burner for my computer. My goodness. Someone stop me. Only don't. Because it's fun.

I watched The Village this past weekend. And even though the majority of the theater hated it, I loved it. I love the way M. Night Shyamalan tells a story. His movies read like a book, if you get my drift.

Speaking of books, I picked up Angels & Demons by Dan Brown. He wrote The Da Vinci Code, which I read first because I didn't know that the events of Angels & Demons occured before The Da Vinci Code. This is another guy that knows how to tell a story. I love it.

I also went to Corona del Mar this past Saturday. The water was really, really cold but it was fun trying to boogie board again. Good food, good company, good times.

I got another raise at work on Monday. My salary was bumped up $250 a month and I now get $15 for each sign my department produces. My boss said that it's only an incentive to get my department to work harder and it'll probably be taken away if their goals aren't met but I'm sure the money will be fun for a while.

During lunch today I went to Target. I bought Sex and the City: Season 6 - Part 1 for Leigh and I bought myself more starch for ironing and a new ironing board. I love the new board. I actually had fun while I was ironing tonight. It's amazing how stupid shit like an ironing board can spark an emotion.

I started looking at components for my new computer again today. I told myself before that I should only get what I need but I don't want to settle. I want the best and fastest shit out there. I decided to get a motherboard that had the new PCI Express slots. The board I'm looking at now has 1 PCIe x16 slot for the video card, 3 PCIe x1 slots, and 2 regular PCI slots. The PCIe video cards seem to be a little expensive at the moment but who cares, I'm getting it. I want to get two Western Digital 36-gig Raptors and put them in a RAID-0 array. Speed, speed, SPEED! I'll probably also get four 250-gig hard drives for storage. Damn, that's a lot. As far as the processor and video card, I'm not sure what I want yet. I think I'll buy those last to ensure that I have the latest and greatest shit out there.

Plans for the near-future:
-Finish my new computer
-More games for my Playstation 2
-Read all the books I've bought but haven't had the time to read
-Buy a digital camera
-Sleep

For those of you that have read all the way through to this point I'll leave you with some parting words: "People die when they fail to live. When people fail to live, they die." Just another take on "Live life to the fullest," but better.

Now off I go. Thanks for taking the time to read. My birthday is coming up and I'd really like to see and hang out with my best friend. Make it happen. :(
