Yesterday Keith and I went to the pet store to pick up some more ferret food. When I walked in, I was shocked to find the white ferret STILL there. When I went over to the ferrets, the white ferret got all excited and followed my fingers where ever. I'm glad there's such a great Pet store near you guys. All the pets stores I've walked into that sold ferret kits were horrible. The ferret girl there sounds awesome; I'd be leaving comment cards or just verbal compliaments with her boss, so they know how awesome she it.

That girl is awesome! One of the ferrets, the oldest one, is her favorite. He started off very nippy, but is now completely nip-trained and very sweet. She adores him and tells us that she's denied a lot of potential buyers because she wants him to go to the best home possible. In fact, we nearly brought him home today. She really wants us to take him in. She said until we can give her a definitive decision whether to get him or not, she'll hold onto him for us.

Another awesome note: All the ferrets have been ADV tested! All their shots are updated according to the number of weeks they're there (so the older male has had all his vacinations). That store continues to amaze me.

Wow, that is awesome. Most pet stores doesn't even know about ADV & don't keep up on the shots. I've gone into stores that weren't able to tell me how old a ferret kit was or if it had had ANY vaccinations.
