Sucker Punch
I'm just back from seeing Sucker Punch and, while I wouldn't exactly recommend it, I didn't hate it, either. It suffers mostly from falling in that ugly place between plot and action. If it had spent less time trying to build character and more on the action you see in the trailers, it would have been a fine, albeit mindless, bit of entertainment. If it had spent more time giving the characters something to do besides act crazy, I might have cared what happened to them. As it was, I liked the pretty bits but didn't care about the plot twists when they came. Go see it for the parts that are in the trailer and go get popcorn during the inbetween bits.
