I have a favor to ask, though I doubt you'll find it a hardship. I'm afraid I pushed Potter too far when forcing him to accept the fact that he is, for all intents and purposes, Teddy's father and it was time to act as such. As you can imagine, my methods were perhaps harsh. As I am now the last person he will ask for help, I assume that should he seek you out, you would do all that you can help him. You may also wish to assure him you have no intention of taking the child away from him, as I may have implied such.
