Summary: Season 4 Sam!Castiel AU: Sam will do anything to get Dean back from hell, so when an angel comes to him promising to raise his brother from perdition, Sam agrees to become Castiel’s vessel in exchange. Castiel has his own motives for taking this assignment: he’s heard a familiar static on angel radio and wants to find his sister Anna. Uneasy allies, Dean and Castiel grow closer as they fight the oncoming apocalypse, but they have their own battles to fight, their own longings to overcome, and their own pasts to escape.
A/N: Here is to the lovely people I had the pleasure of working with! This story was absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I was stunned into silence and tears by the shear poetry of their words. Thank you for making my job easy. I loved every moment I spent working on the art < 3333333 I confess, I never imagined Cas taking up residence within Sam, but wow! I was amazed. No offense to Misha, because he is fantastic, but this journey would have been fantastic to see on my screen. I would also like to thank our mods, wendy and thehighwaywoman, who put in so much work to make this possible every year. Your dedication and the hours beyond hours you put into this makes me bow down to you.
