You'd think they'd install air conditioning in the clinic, but no apparently they want maximum levels of misery. Perhaps they think they can sweat out the fakers, nobody would want to sit in a sweltering waiting room just to score some pills. Do you think its wrong to prescribe placebos to get people to drink water?
I considered buddying up to the surgery residents to get into their doctor's lounge, it's so much nicer than ours. I had enough fetching coffee and stuff when I was intern though. Me and my interns have retreated to my car instead, its a bit of a squeeze, but at least its cool and we don't have to sell our souls to appreciate it.
