I meant to post this ages ago, but Real Life keeps tripping me up. Damn you, real life!

#1 - trinnifer wrote me a delicious angsty H/G fic for smutty_claus! It's called "The Persistence of Memory." Go and drool over it here.

#2 - dracopottamus, goddess that she is, was taking text-only shipper icon requests, so I, uh, asked for H/G. I was expecting something cute with their names together in a swirly font. Instead, she summed up what I love most about them, using all of eleven words. Go and fangirl here.
#3 - ladytalon of obsessiveicons filled my base request!! I was dying for some poker icons/bases that weren't the usual static/lifeless/dead Hand Holding Royal Flush or Deck Of Cards Just Sitting There All Blah. Go and squee here.
#4 - I joined femslash100 - a drabble community for multifandom femslash, yum. I'm doing the alphabet challenge now - I picked Buffy/Faith. I also participated in the Seven Deadly Sins challenge(s), with a mixed bag of pairings - Jubilee/Rogue (X-men), Alex/Olivia (L&O: SVU), Harley Quinn/Poison Ivy, Torrance/just about everybody else in the movie "Bring It On", and of course Buffy/Faith. Go and get down with your sapphic side - my two contributions thus far are here and here.
#5 - Speaking of femslash: I posted a whole slew of random-Corbis-couples-as-HP-femslash-couples icons to the appropriately-named hpfemslashicons, because femslash is love. Go check them out here.
#6 - OMG. The fight scene in "Kill Bill" between Beatrix Kiddo (The Bride) and Gogo Yubari (O-Ren Ishii's schoolgirl bodyguard) ... dubbed with Super Mario Brothers sound effects. This is hysterical. (If you start watching and are going "WTF?" - it doesn't get really good until Gogo gets down the stairs and the fight starts.) Go laugh your ass off here.
#7 - If you haven't seen wheelchaircomix, you must. It is unbelievable. Professor Charles Xavier as a badass stick figure in his wheelchair - trust me. Just go.

This huge, lurking monstrous robot spies your party and growls, heading your way with big nasty energy blasts radiating off him.
A tiny figure with red hair and a black coat runs up to him, pulls her arm back and PUNCHES with all of her might.
The robot flies through the air and slams into the wall behind him with a loud OOF! and dies.
The redhead whirls around and announces to the rest of the group, in a cheerful Southern twang, "Woo! That was fun!"
Syzy and I are now on X-Men Legends II, and I am thoroughly in love with this fucking game. And Rogue. And putting together an all-girl team of ass-kickers. And Rogue. And the X-Men universe itself, which I didn't give a damn about two months ago. And Rogue. And Gambit, and his angsty fucked-up relationship with Rogue. And Rogue. And Professor X and the whole damn crew. And Rogue.
