The Doctor had exited the TARDIS in search of more information. He'd already learnt from one of his future selves that none of the TARDISes worked, but he still needed details. Somehow, some way there had to be a way to reverse this

Oh, she hoped it was him. So far, it seemed everyone she thought she knew hadn't been who she thought. But hope seized Sarah Jane again when she noticed a familiar head of white hair.
"And who else would I be, Sarah Jane?" He couldn't tell if she was the original Sarah he had travelled with or the more recent version, but that didn't really matter. With a glint in his eye, he gathered her up in a great big hug.
So there were others. Liz and Jo, her velvet loving Doctor, the Doctor in leather. They all remembered. They were all here before. It was certainly intriguing information, to say the least.
But not something to focus on now, what with that invitation hanging in the air.
"Oh, I'd love to, Doctor." She paused, debating how best to phrase it. "But there's another you about - tall and skinny with messy brown hair - and he already offered me a place and. He needs a friend. I need a friend too, right now."
"I don't know if I can leave him. He just arrived, you see, and well, it's you. You know how hard it is to say no to you - when you're not giving some idiotic request," she adds in quickly, grinning a tad cheekily,
"I suppose I can understand that." The Doctor shoved his hands in his pockets, and a hint of a smile crossed his face. Flattery was always nice, and he'd be magnanamous and ignore the insult that had followed. "But if you ever want to come back, you still have a place with me."
"Well, then, I expect you to come by often. And bring the toothpick with you. If you like him, he might be one of my more tolerable incarnations." He grinned at her, remembering how he'd prevented his Fifth self from chatting her up in the Death Zone. Though if he tried that now, she'd probably punch him or something.

Sarah Jane takes a deep breath, blinking back any burgeoning tears.
"It just... oh, it stood to reason that you wouldn't remember anything either."

Finally he said, "Liz and Jo still remember. Why don't you come back to the TARDIS. We'd love to have you."
