I had Friday off, we had a show that evening. It was fun, played in S. Austin. Relaxed most of Saturday. Sunday, I saw the movie Death of a President at the Drafthouse on S. Lamar. It was good, a lot of strikingly similar parallels to reality, sometimes chilling, sometimes disheartening. Shot really well, deep colors. Overall A-.
I left to pick up some food last night and when I got back there was a police car almost blocking the entrance I use. When I got in K said she heard screeching and a crash, and that apparently someone was running from the cops and turned into our coplex. They hit a few cars, minorly, ditched the car and ran. No idea what happened. All while I was gone for 15 minutes a block and a half down the road.
Thanksgiving's coming up, should be yummy! My week slowed down today, everyone's out sick or on vacation it seems.
