time for a quickie
What I don't understand is people and politicians who would rather combat hunger and poverty in other countries before ours. What is it about the starving of other countries that makes them more deserving than the ones right here? We should try fixing our own problems first.
You know how after people get out of prison or institutions are required to keep a plant alive for a year, then a pet, before they can consider dating again? America couldn't keep a plant alive, and yet some Americans think we are responsible for the problems in other parts of the world.
Doesn't make sense to me. But then neither do the teenagers I'm trying to teach.
