Drop & Drop Ch 1
Apparently the other chapter was a prologue and this was the real chapter 1.
I thought the art was better in this chapter than what it was in the prologue (or maybe I'm just getting use to the new style).
Kakei is such a lovable bastard and I hope he never changes.
I actually don't ship Rikuou/Kazahaya too much. They simply don't have the same appeal to me as Kakei/Saiga, but I did like how Rikuou became protective when he realized Kazahaya did not want his picture appearing on the Internet.
I noticed one of the girls had one of those things from Chobits (you know, from that book series that Chitose's writes). Plus their uniforms look like the same one Kazahaya had to wear back in Vol 2. Never change CLAMP, never change.
It seems like this takes place shortly after Watanuki took over Yuuko's shop (since Kazahaya mentioned about how lonely Watanuki was). It doesn't really match up with xxxHolic's timeline though since Kazahaya and Rikuou have a cameo in an early chapter of Holic and Holic's plot takes longer than a year. It's been a while since I read Vol 1 of GD but I seem to remember Kazahaya and Rikuou not being together very long in it.
I don't know, maybe the time gap between GD and D&D is really longer than a year and Kakei just doesn't know it but no one wants to tell him. Saiga loves him and thus doesn't care if his lover has a horrible concept of time. As for Kazahaya, he doesn't want to risk his job so he doesn't tell and forces Rikuou not to tell too.
