Whinning because your fic of LILY groveling at Snape's feet begging for forgiveness for 'being mean to him' is getting bad reviews is really quite pathetic. Because unless you wrote an AU where Lily did something completely horrible to Snape, it's called OOC-ness, it's going to turn people off.
Because in canon? It would be Snape begging for forgiveness. He's the one who was a jerk to her and called her a racist name when she was trying to stick up for him (and lets not forget about that little part where HE GOT HER KILLED). He turned away from her first, not the other way around.
Besides we're talking about Lily here. She didn't even grovel before Voldemort even though she was defenseless; she stood her ground. She's not a Death Eater, they're the ones who are experts in groveling.
Not everyone reads HP through Snape-filled goggles. It's best to remember that.
