I am so, so, so surprised you managed to avoid spoilers about Kamina. Even when I had no intention of watching, there were a bunch of posts on my FL about it xD Plus, 4chan. Yeah.

I don't know how it happened since I did get spoiled about Kittan's death and I know there's some funky stuff going on with Nia during the second half of the series where she becomes and enemy.

Plus I saw Kamina on that page of the doujin you posted the other day so I assumed he would live.
