This is one of those songs

That just won't get out of my head. I was watching the news this morning, and, while doing a story on the moon landing 40 years ago today, this song was playing in the background. I'm fine, as long as I'm near the radio, but as soon as I step out of my office, REM re-invades quicker than Bush chasing WMD in Iraq.

It was a pretty good weekend as long as I was up early enough to enjoy the sun. And I was, for the most part. I slept in a bit Friday, which is what you're supposed to do on a day off. Much gaming was done; my hunter moved to Northrend and quickly hit 71. More of the "take this note to the guy standing right behind you" type of quests, mostly designed to familiarize me with who is where in the new city. But, at 15K xp a pop, I'll gladly work for NPS (Northrend Postal Service) for a day. The quests quickly started to send me out of town to meet this person, kill x amount of y mobs, etc. I know I’m making it sound hum-drum, but it’s not, really. New areas to explore, new types of mobs to grind; I even went into a mist-filled dream quest for a while which was pretty interesting.

In the wide world of sports, Tom almost won The (British) Open Championship; he missed a put on the last hole that would have won it outright, and lost in a 4-hole playoff. And it looks like Lance is putting on his “I’m good with 2nd place” face, which is disheartening, but he’s still the man.

Peoplesoft is beckoning, so Happy Monday!

Peace
