Maybe then I'll fade away
John's back. He sent me a message this morning saying he'd returned and he's moved in with Kate, one of his friends from school. Turns out he did go to Perth, but he didn't drive like I thought - he had a friend look after his car here and Tamara (his friend from Hawaii who's currently visiting Perth) must have paid for his return airfare. So yeah. The mystery has been explained. Don't know what he's going to do about work though, but he'll have to figure that one out on his own.
Haven't been doing much. Watched a movie called Big Nothing yesterday, it was weird hearing Simon Pegg with an American accent, that's for sure. But the movie itself was interesting, lots of twists and turns. Had work last night, 4 to 9, then swung by Karah's to pick up her feedback regarding the story chapters I'd given her. Still need to give the chapters to Emma and Melissa to get their feedback for my assignment, I'm seeing them tomorrow so it should be fine.
I have work in about an hour and a half, I could quite happily stay in bed and watch movies. It's only a three hour shift though, so it could be worse. But it cuts a chunk out my day. Hmmph. Just finished watching Amazing Grace, it's a good movie, and once again proves I know very little about the history of the world. Not as smart as I thought I was, that's for sure!
I should probably do some of my assignments. All four of them are due next Friday, eep. I reckon instead of posting them on the Wednesday I'll take the extra days and just drive into the city on the Friday and hand them in personally. The true meaning of procrastination right there - it's all very last minute.
