And you know that you feel it too

Hung out with Emma and Melissa yesterday. We watched Hot Rod and a couple episodes of American Dad before I had to go home and get ready to go to the city with Karah. We headed out round 5 pm, got to the Elephant early and decided to have some wedges and a chat. At 6 Dave's stand-up show began. Aptly titled Life on a Budget, it was mainly about him growing up and the various jobs he's had over the years, it was a pretty funny show.

Karah came back to my house and we watched The Girl Next Door, then she went to a gathering. David invited me to a gathering at Ape's and I wasn't going to go because of work, but in the end I went. I think I got there at 11.30 pm and left at 2.30 am, so it wasn't a bad effort! It was me, David, Ryan, Ape, Tom, and Matt to start off with, then Bradley and Keith rocked up later, followed by Pudney (the rather pretty guy lol) and three of his friends. So it was a decent sized group, with me being the only girl, but it was still good. Matt and Keith played guitar for a while, and I had some good chats with people. I would've stayed on if I didn't have work today.

So here I am, at work, on Adelaide Cup day, working for the same amount of money I always get, while everyone enjoys their day of rest. Hmmph. Bitter much? Karah came in to see me - originally she was going to crash at my house after her gathering but plans changed, and she came in to tell me why. I won't go into it, but she did something she regrets and she feels like she's losing control of her life, poor thing. I tried my best to cheer her up, and in the end she was a bit more smiley. She left at midday to see her sister Tash for a while.

Anywho, I guess I should do some work or something. God forbid I actually earn my money.
