It's starting to depress me... after 4 long years in college, I'm staring at requirements for internships and I feel completely inadequate. Wasn't college supposed to help you gain skills you will need in the real working world? Then why am I not qualified to be an INTERN!? Is it because I didn't follow my heart and become an art major? From what I've been told, companies will take you as an intern even if you don't have any experience. They expect that. So you just need to apply, and show willingness to learn while you're at the internship, you'll get it.

They also know that stuff you learn in school can't be use in the real world so they're more than ready to teach you. So, APPLY! even if you have no experience. You gotta start some where. And talk to people at the career centers, they help crap load.

I did all these things when I was a sophmore, but I'm not doing anything now. I'm kinda backward.

Well, this has definitely given me hope =] I know that I just have to suck it up and apply anyway, but I'm still afraid that they'll look at me and say: "Comp Sci major, wants to be an artist?" then again... the arts majors don't even have classes for MAYA and 3DSMAX... Unless you're at an arts school.

*deep breath* I'm just freaking out... I'll be ok... ><

But thanks tho!! *hugs!*
