Day 03 - Your parents, in great detail
oh man i doubt anyone wants to know anything about my parents.
but whatever.
my parents divorced when i was 7 years old and didn't tell me what was going on- we just suddenly moved into an apt and my dad stayed in the house until it was foreclosed on and all of my toys ended up in a dumpster in the driveway.
(one of my worst childhood memories for sure)
wow this post got off to a depressing start!
i cannot imagine what it wouldve been like having married parents for most of my adolescence. i'm glad they got divorced. it was better that way believe me.
i'm still very close to my parents.
i have every reason to not have a close relationship with my dad and somehow i kept forgiving him anyway- and now... im thankful i didnt just give up.
both of my parents are huge sports fans- that explains my obsessions with baseball and football. 95% of the conversations that i have with my dad are sports-related.
both of my parents were married to someone- had a baby girl- then divorced then married one another and had me. my dad cheated on my mom and had a son. i did not know he existed until he was 7 years old (and i was 14). i also did not meet him until then. my dad told me this when he took me to a joes crab shack on a friday afternoon.
(i don't speak to my brother. neither does my dad. he's 20 now.)
there's alot more... but i dont feel like sharing the rest.
i suddenly feel real anxious.
