OMG BIBW CLEARLY YOU AND I, LIKE BRIAN AND MICHAEL, ARE SOULMATES :X:X:X:X:X:X

I totally agree with what you loved about the episode. I think I said in Kel's journal that part of what made it so hard for me was that there were things that I really loved about it. But the part that didn't work for me was kind of the most important part, you know?

Me you and twistinside82 should start a support group. We all seem to be somewhere in between it was horrible and it was okay.

That's if I can ever get to the point where I stop crying about the last B/J scene. :(

In a show that so often knocks me over the head with its message, I was left feeling vaguely confused as to what the creators really wanted me to take away from that. Brian will never, ever change? Brian has changed and is happy? Brian just really likes to dance?Yes! *Thank* you. I love it when someone articulates exactly what I'm feeling. I hate that I can't figure out what the hell they were trying to say about Brian. And it has nothing to do with "being ambiguous"--being ambiguous isn't the same thing as sloppy storytelling ( ... )

What I took from the ending, is that after 5 years with Justin, Brian still can't dance!

I truly believe that the writers had no idea what to make of Brian, so they left it vague on purpose.

oh reenabob :x that's pretty much exactly how i felt. i don't mind a sad ending at all if it feels like the *right* ending. i always think the best endings, for tv shows or movies or books or WHATEV, are the endings you didn't expect, but once you've seen them you can't imagine the thing ending any other way. well, i can imagine qaf ending lots of other ways which would've been more satisfying and a lot less puzzling :| this didn't feel like an inevitable ending to me- it felt very last minute and forced and confused. BUT, like you said, I didn't hate it either. There were things I loved, and I have no resentment about it. Just vague disappointment and, um, puzzlement.
