Several things:
• Been writing all day, as it's been -15C outside and I'll be buggered if I go out in that shite.
• This has led to an interesting situation, to wit: the ficathon piece (the odd and strange one) being with Kimchi the betagoddess, I thought I'd take a peek at the first, totally different and initially-deemed-unusable one. And actually, it wasn't so bad (just, you know, all normal, which apparently wasn't what I was feeling when I abandoned it in favour of unmitigated angst and stream-of-consciousness babble).
• So I've spent a few hours playing with it and though it needs an ending (obvious one, just has to be writ) and a quick slap with the beta-stick, it might be viable. And, as such, likely a better offering for the ficathon, as it's less, you know, totally fucked up and all.
• There's also order_of_chaos's fantastically fantastic suggestions, made when I was banging my head against the computer last week(ish), which bred bunnies and led to the start of a totally different fic, sitting on my desktop this very second, and which I'd like very much to climb back into maybe tomorrow.
• All of which is to say: given 3 prompts that I really wasn't spectacularly into to begin with, and having had no bloody ideas for the first 5 weeks of the writing period, it's just possible that in the last week (half a week, actually) I'll have two-and-a-half-maybe-three pieces. All of which are vastly different, and at least one of which I really like a lot (even though I have, as has been mentioned many times, trepidation about putting it out there).

• Also I've realized anew that I suck at titles, and I truly despise summarizing my fics. And that's all.
