It's hot, yes, but that isn't the only thing that makes me go squee. First, I like Naruto being the focus for once, and Sakura and Sasuke and so much unsaid stuff between them eeeeee. *flails* second, whee realistic (hahaha especially with the knot what) sweaty, nice-but-with-awkward-bits sex, giving way to awkward stuff, and we're right back to the sakura/sasuke interaction. it's weird how much i hate the very notion of sasusaku on its own when in the context of a threesome its very awkwardness and mutual tentative-reaching-out-ness makes me go EEEE.

Also, I read the Ichiro and Megumi bit but it was hours ago and I suck for not reviewing when it was fresher in my mind, but I loved it, and I love how Ichiro has changed now but after thinking about it, it doesn't matter to Megumi; also, very chilling in a way. Poor normal, charitable OCs. (and whee for five-ness stuff. ^o^)

Naruto is one of the characters that I don't think I'm ever going to feel comfortable with writing, so I shortchange him a whole lot, but, yeah. He's the one trying to keep the three of them together, he gets to be the one that gets laid. *grin*

I was almost tempted to move into Sasuke's POV at the end of the sex, though, because the only reason he did or said half of what he did is because he could sense their emotions; but his motivations are pretty much obscure through the rest of the story so I figured why start now. Plus, even that wouldn't have mattered if Naruto had tried to pull this off before they started playing Konoha.

...unless I've misuderstood what you meant about Naruto, which with the way things've been going the last few days, is entirely possible. But either way, thank you for putting my mind to rest about the sex. There is no way to explain how much I worried over that damn stuff

I really enjoy your Naruto and the way you played out this scene. The awkwardness of the sex and Sakura and Sasuke's shy uncertainty with each other. Mhmmm. Can't wait to read more of Vurt Ninjas! :)

I have to say, I saw the word "knot" and had this horrible, horrible flashback to some of the old Inuyasha badfic I'd read years ago. My god, the horror. I had to take some time to recover before I could read this. XD

I love the way you integrated Naruto's dog side/instincts/humanity in here; it was subtle and hot and realistic. I also like how you portrayed Naruto - I think I saw in another comment you said you weren't comfortable with writing from his POV? I think you did fine; even considering this is an AU, he was still very Naruto to me.

The play between the three was really nice as well, and kind of bittersweet. I think it's details like Sakura's reaction to Sasuke's laugh, things like that, that really do it.

Question! Any chance of a sidefic of Naruto and Sasuke's first time? Because the mental image I have of Sasuke's reaction to being stuck to a guy in a really private manner, in public, is killing me dead here. XD

Yeah, Naruto is one of those characters I've never been able to really feel okay with writing from his view--I do a lot better writing his actions viewed by someone else. And, thank you; it's good to hear that he's coming off right here, especially from you.

Ahaha! Probably not--trying to write porn is pretty much on par with pulling teeth for me, since it takes three times longer than anything else and always leaves me self-conscious about the writing--but I can imagine how it would go. *grin* Sasuke would have to get over the "WTF!!!" and trying to get free long enough to actually listen to Naruto's half-apologies and half-explanations (I seriously doubt that Naruto would have had sex with him in a public place, or had penetrating sex at all, if he hadn't assumed Sasuke knew about the knot already), and then he'd probably make a lot of deragatory remarks about Naruto's heritage but put up with it stoically

just an ignorant, non-vurt-aware question. what exactly is this knot? and why would it be embarrassing if sasuke found out about it in public?

Ah, the knot is--Naruto's basically a 3/4ths human 1/4th dog, because in the Vurt there was essentially this drug that caused people to sleep with everything, which resulted in a lot of weird genetic changes come the next generation. The knot is part of the canine influence on his DNA; when a dog orgasms, a part of their penis swells up in order to keep the female from being able to go away before the semen's deposited, and it stays like that for around 7 to 30 minutes, depending on the dog's size. So it would have been embarassing to Sasuke because he literally couldn't have gotten off of Naruto's cock until the swelling went away again, not without risking tearing and really hurting himself in the process. So it was actually kind of a combination of embarassment and 'Jesus Christ WHAT' on his part.
