This is my favorite fic at the moment, so it sucks that it only comes out every once in a while.

Since everyone thinks he is one when they see him, how does Sasuke look like a shadow girl? I don't know what one looks like to begin with, so I have nothing to go off of...are there shadow guys?

I know it's late, sorry, but congrats on graduating, by the way.

There are Shadow-guys, but they're all Zombies, and banished from cities on account of being half-dead and ugly and stuff. People automatically assume Sasuke's a girl more because he's not a hideous lump of flesh rather than because he's such a prettyboy, though the prettyboy-ness helps him get along in society, what with being a freak of nature.

So, is he a shadow person? I thought he hated shadow girls. And what do they do.

Yeah, he's like a shadowgirl, just male and without any of the powers accept the ability to sense emotions. And he hates shadowgirls because he has issues. That's all there really is to it.

Shadowgirls, depending on the strength of their abilities, can read minds, screw up people's thoughts temporarily, and animate dead bodies. There might be more, but I can't remember off the top of my head, and my copy of Pollen is still packed up.

What makes him look like a shadow girl? Does Itachi have the same thing?

What are Uchihas, they have Shadow people powers but the guys don't have the look?

Um, just that he looks like a normal human being, but with smoke or something around him. Jeff Noon never went into any real detail that I remember about what the shadowgirls looked like.

No, Itachi's a Pure--an un-combined human being, like Sakura. Both of his parents were just humans, but Fugaku had a brief affair with a shadowgirl and Sasuke was the totally unexpected result (in both ways).
