...If yellow is for death, how can it be the gold of vurt? How are they made? Why is Sasuke and Sakura reacting badly to each other? So, if Ino and Jiraiya exists in the real world, are the characters in "Konoha" also name Ino and Jiraiya? Can other..."players" in Konoha interact with them? Say, is there a Gaara in "reality"?
Sakura said, "It's not like I love him!". Why did she say that? What does she really feel?
I am totally proud of the fact that my laziness in character design is what led me to having a plot. I mean, I couldn't think of a reason that Orochimaru would be interested in Sasuke with him not having the pretty eyes, but then I found out, oh, hey, you can't make a shadowboy who's not a reject from night of the living dead and then, bam. Plot. Is that not awesome
( ... )
You went and made me read all the back chapters, darn you. ...And now I want said obscure book series, although I suspect it will 1) confuse me and 2) disappoint me because there is no Konoha ninja-folk. Maybe I'll stick with your fic. Fusions are my sekrit love, and you're handling the details quite well.
Heh, I've only read the first book of the series, and that was a long time ago, so this is pretty much based on my memories of it rather than the actual book itself. Vurt was pretty cool, if weird (the feathers thing takes a while to get over), but the writing was loose in some places and a little florid in others. I've heard that Pollen is better writing-wise, but the plot is so complicated it makes heads hurt. And, yeah, it is sorely lacking in ninja-folk.
