good news for allie and host of others!
james is moving up in the corporate world, or whatever world his job puts him in. he's extremely close to getting a promotion, we believe, and he'd rather keep moving up in the company than packing up his bags and moving in less than a year.
so, this means that:
1. esha and james are not moving from new jersey. well, at least not as planned, which would have been in the fall of this year.
2. mom is still moving back to california. this allows me to be more mobilely bi-coastal. how posh.
3. there is no 3. sorry.
so, rest assured, a bit more time will have to pass before my familial ties are dissolved from this wacky state.
but, it's not like we weren't going to face this issue in two more years anyway, when life starts. though i'm probably gonna put it off with grad school. all i know about that is i don't plan on going to grad school in ca or nj. or mn. i'm thinking about trying someplace entirely new.
we'll see what happens.
ETA: allie, i've got two of your possessions at my house: a pair of green gloves and a pin, presumably off of your coat.
following protocol for such an occasion, they will be ransomed back to you (the other result would have been joey eating them, which you've already experienced.)
