Passing Fancy

Since my parents are coming around this weekend, M. and I are getting the place to look a little spiffier.  M. may have told y'alls about the gigantic lilac that blew over in a thunderstorm.  Well, after letting it sit around for a while, I got out the clippers and the saw and chopped it up and took it to the dump.  It weighed 180 lbs. total.  Miles is a good little helper.

This is  our next vehicle.  Not this one, but one just like this, so we can better fit in around here (but no gun rack necessary).  Seriously.  Everyone has one of these things.  Or two.  I borrowed this from a doctor in town to schlepp our lilac tree to the dump.  M. is fully behind me on this one.  I'm thinking maybe a little smaller (2.5 tons is a lot), mismatched body paneling preferable.  Towing hitch also desired.  If anyone knows someone who has one of these let me know.

I apologize for chewing up everyone's bandwidth with the pics, but I've been using RichText to do this b/c I can just drag and drop the photos in Safari, but I can't get the LJ-cut to work out.  Last time I had trouble with the pics in HTML.  For some reason, they didn't work out.  So anyway, Sorry.

Hope everyone's having a good week.

Cheers,

Reid
