YAY SUMMER CAMP
i was supposed to be a counselor at this camp starting in june for kids who had lost a loved one. I filled out the application. I get a confirmation back that I would be a counselor. I get an email asking for my last TB shot from some bitch on the 4th. I email her back a week later because I was out of town and she says, Hi Reid. Unfortunately, it is too late to be a counselor because the counselor spots have all been filled. I did not hear back from you and had to move forward with our other applicants. We've already started the training process.
I will keep your application on file for future reference.

they asked for my phone number and my parents phone number and didnt call either of those, nor was there any mention on the application or her initial reply about when training would start or the necessity of a TB record.
what. a. fucking. bitch. I think kids are amazing and i think my therapy/psychology background + empathy/sensitivity would've made me a pretty great counselor. but now we'll never know.
