[ the feed comes on and it’s obvious that it isn’t intentional: it seems to be the view from inside a bag. For a few moments, all anybody can see or hear is the faint sounds of people talking in the distance. For anybody with very astute hearing, they might be able to pick up that there are two people talking, but that’s about it. Then, all of a sudden, the ‘Gear is taken out of the bag and placed face-up on some sort of surface. Alexi’s and Rael’s faces can be seen at an odd angle, it’s obvious neither of them know it’s recording. ]
…There, now that I’ve taken that out... can we continue? I just need a little bit longer...
[ a grumping sound. the glance that Rael (the shorter boy) gives the gear is only a cursory one, though, as he looks back to Alexi. his hands make some sort of a defensive gesture. ]
… It honestly wouldn’t have been that uncomfortable if you didn’t keep on pushing me back, you know? Now my back hurts.
[ the expression on Alexi’s face is caught somewhere in between embarrassed and dismissive; he crosses his arms and sighs before answering: ]
I wasn’t pushing that hard. It’s because you won’t stand still.
[ the shorter boy rolls his eyes. ]
You got too tall. Not even my tip-toes are enough anymore. Geez, you should just share some of your inches... [ though even with the odd angle of the camera, the fondness in his gestures is apparent. without missing a beat, he reaches up to take Alexi’s collar in his hands, getting up on his tiptoes to meet the older boy’s lips.
