Nineteen Years?!
LJ notified me that I've been a user for 19 years, so it seemed fitting to give an annual update.
• I'm a full-time merchandise manager at a dollar discount store.
•My husband received a hefty raise, then bought me a 2002 Mercedes-Benz.
•Book-reading hasn't been on my agenda for some time, but I have listened to 3-4 audiobooks this year.
•I'm going to Florida for a week next month.
•The youngest daughter of my best friend is staying with us; she works for Amazon and sleeps here for days at a time (when her schedule calls for it).
•Our offspring still live at home, and while I don't mind it, it does annoy my husband at times.
•One of our sons came out to us last year, proclaiming he is pan/poly. He's recently admitted that he didn't tell us everything, and informed us that he is transgender -- and it's okay to call him "him/son" or "her/daughter", but never "it", as that's offensive. We love our son (I'm referring to him as such for now), and am glad he feels comfortable enough to tell us these things.
