Obligatory New Year's Post
So! 2011! The year I graduated college, spent three months hating life while I job searched, found a job, didn't like the job, and decided to keep it for now anyway, in the name of stability and paying rent. This is the year I started to figure a lot of shit out about myself.
This is also the year I finally participated in NaNo (didn't hit 50K, but made it to 18K, which is longer than anything I've written before), fell in and out of fandoms (The Eagle I love you, but you are so tiny ;___;), and realized how amazing The Avengers are.
There is possibly some fic coming for that.
Also, have I mentioned I have a Tumblr? Because I totally have a tumblr. I freaking love Tumblr, I use it all the time. You can find me here, with the same username as always. Be warned, I mostly post ridiculous things and a lot of Avengers stuff.
2012 is hopefully the year where I start to figure out what I want to do with my life, and start to actually do it. I have some projects I'm excited about - fic, for one thing, but also
elenchic and I are trying to get a podcast off the ground, so keep an eye out for that. (Trust me, we're hilarious.) Maybe it'll be the year when I leave San Diego. Maybe it'll be the year when I stay, but I find a job I'm actually happy with. Who knows! I certainly don't. I hope it's the year where I learn how to finish a novel, at least.
