JET paperwork
Although I am an alternate, I still have to go through most of the pre-departure hoops. Yesterday got the reply form to send back by the end of the month. I also got instructions on going about getting an FBI background check and filling out an IRS form. It said to contact them if you had lived more than a year outside the country for an FBI check abroad. I further read that it may just be for people who have lived abroad within the last 5 years. I sent an email to my consulate just in case because I was over there from 81-84.
I am not going to start a vlog unless I know for sure I am going to Japan. a vlog about my normal life will be just boring, although I may just post some stuff on youtube in the near future, just not as religiously posting as a vlog. I think I stand a reasonable chance of getting in. The greatest chance I have at being bumped up is within the next month.
