I kinda understand your analysis on the Master. I do see that he's a very evil person and...that's it. When you mention "bombs", I remembered the Boston bombing really and I'm seeing the suspects as terrible people... then again, I don't know what they've gone through that probably led them to this kind of thing. (Anyway, it's terrible and just sad).
Yes, those were my thoughts exactly when I wrote this. I immediately labeled the bombers as 'evil', but then I had wonderful people around me sending prayers to them (the "bad guys"!) and it just really opened my eyes. Around the same time, a commenter mentioned how unrealistic and fake the Master seemed as a character. The whole process put a definite crack in my previous way of thinking. lol. Maybe that explains his disappearance from the story (death) and the shades of gray in this next chapter. It definitely poses the question: "Is killing bad?"
