Chapter 12 - “It’s over”
It’s been 5 days since Kazuya left the Akanishi mansion. Jin, together with Koki and Nakamaru follows Kazuya’s trail, not because they 100% believe that Kame has something to do with Yuri’s kidnapper, but it’s more on them wanting to protect the younger one in case he really is innocent. As for Kazuya, he returns to the same café everyday where he met Jun and waits for him there till the store closes. It was Sunday, and the café closed earlier than usual. It was also raining which Kazuya didn’t notice, so he ended up soaking wet.
“I will never lose hope…I need to find Yuri…” Kazuya said to himself, without noticing how wet he is. He was still looking around, when he noticed that he felt warmer. He turned around only to find Jin holding up an umbrella for them and Jin putting his own jacket to Kazuya.
“J-Jin..”
“I believe you…and I’m sorry I ever doubted you…”
Tears started falling from Kazuya’s eyes
“I really didn’t know that my friend, Jun is involved in this…I am so sorry…”
Jin was about to say something when Koki opened the window of his car
“Jin I think if you guys don’t want to get sick, you should both get in the car” Koki said
“Hai…” The two answered in unison
~Inside Jin’s car~
Jin sat beside Kame and used his handkerchief to dry the younger one’s hair
“Who do you think did all this mess?” Yuichi asked
“If Jun is behind this…why? I mean how? He doesn’t have any access with the private resort…” Kazuya answered
Jin looked out the window, thinking about what Kazuya just said. Other than his parents, brother, and him, only Karina has an access with the resort.
“Jin what’s wrong?” Koki asked when he noticed Jin’s face looks like he’s in pain
“Nothing…” Jin simply answered as he held on Kazuya’s hand
Moments later they arrived at the Akanishi mansion. When they passed by the living room, Karina noticed that Kazuya was with them. Anger filled her…
“Jin? What is that traitor doing in our house?” Karina asked as he pulled Jin with her
“Traitor? Who?” Jin asked sarcastically
“THAT KAMENASHI GUY! Didn’t he have a picture with the kidnapper?” Karina said without even thinking of the situation
“How did you know about the pictures? Unless you were the one who set that up…” Jin said
“…”
“It’s over Karina…you admitted it yourself…you’re behind all this mess…”
“J-Jin…”
“Where’s my daughter?”
“Jin…I…I saw the picture in your drawer…the reports and everything…” Karina tried to argue
“The reports are in my car…and as for the picture *takes out his wallet* it’s inside this…we never told anyone about this…it was only the 4 of us who knew about everything….”
“I…”
“No use explaining Karina…it’s over…bring me to my daughter…”
Quickly Karina took out her gun and pulled Kame with her
“Fine…I’ll bring you to her…but you got to be careful my lovely husband or I might shoot your other man…” Karina smirked
“Fuck you Karina! Let him go‼‼” Jin shouted
“Ah ah ah…honey…go get your car…without your two assistants of course…I’ll tell you the direction as to where your daughter is…oh and bring your money too…I’d need that of course…” Karina smiled wider
Jin followed Karina and drove to the address that Karina told him. As he was driving, he noticed Kame’s pained expression from the mirror
“Kazuya?” Jin asked
“I can’t believe it…you found him and still love him? After having our daughter?” Karina said as she strangle Kazuya’s neck harder
“Stop it! Please…if you want to vent your anger do it to me…”
“No Jin…I know you…nothing will pain you more unless I hurt your lovely daughter…” Karina said as she let go of Kazuya
“WHAT?! you’re planning to hurt your own daughter?! You’re a bitch…”
“Jin Jin Jin…can’t you see? I only used your daughter so I can be with you..so I can get all your money”
Jin can only shake his head from what his wife just said
Moments later, they arrived at the address where Karina kept their daughter
“DADDY‼!” Yuri shouted the moment she saw her dad.
Karina let go of Kame and ran towards their daughter
“So Jin? Shall I vent my anger now?” Karina smirked
“Karina what’s the meaning of this?” Jun asked when he entered the room “Eh? Kazuya?! What…”
“Shut up Jun…” Karina said “Now Jin…shall I vent my anger?”
“Karina please don’t do this to our daughter…”
“Your daughter…” Karina said
“I never wanted to have a baby and ruin my body”
“What? I thought after all this…”
“I said shut up!” Karina said as she shoot Jun’s leg
“JUN!” Kazuya was about to run towards his friend when he pointed the gun to them
“Karina…I’ll give you the money you want just please let us all go…” Jin begged
“Not unless I punish you…” Karina said as she pulled her daughter’s hair
“OUCH! Daddy help me!” Yuri cried
Jin is so confused. He doesn’t know what to do. If he approach Karina he might be able to save Yuri, but what about Kazuya. What if Karina shoots him? Or what if Karina shoots Yuri first?
“Shoot me then…kill me if you want…just let Kazuya and Yuri go…”
“Jin no…” Kazuya cried
“Daddy no…” Yuri cried too
“That’s a good idea…” Karina smirked as she pointed the gun to Jin
