[Fic] The Fated Proposal
Chapter 13
*~~* Yuna’s apartment
Jin woke up naked, with Yuna’s bare body on top of him.
“Oh hey…you’re up…” Yuna whispered as she got off Jin and lied beside the older one
“We’re…what….I…” Jin was confused. After Pi’s proposal, he ordered a bottle of white wine, but after that he doesn’t remember what happened…
“Before you break your head by thinking too much, let me explain. Yes something happened between us, and yes it was only you that was drunk. You did order a bottle of white wine, but you managed to finish them all by yourself. And no, I don’t regret whatever happened…I wasn’t drunk and I was aware of what happened to us last night…”
“I…I’m sorry I couldn’t remember…” Jin apologized as he started dressing up
“Don’t say sorry coz I don’t regret it, even for a bit…”
“Yuna I…”
“I just wish we can be like how we used to be. I hope nothing change between us…” Yuna smiled “I hope we can still be on each other’s side…”
“As long as you’re cool about it, I’m cool too…” Jin smiled as he hug Yuna
*~~* 1 week after in Vegas
The wedding of Pi and Kazuya ended with a kiss between the newlyweds. Jin tried to act all excited for Pi’s sake, but deep inside him, his heart was broken in to pieces.
They were currently eating their dinner, when Yuna started feeling something weird in her tummy
“Yuna? Is something wrong? You look pale…” Jin asked
“I…AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!” Yuna shouted which caused the guys to panic
They immediately went to Pi’s car and drove Yuna to the nearest hospital.
“J-Jin…blood…” Yuna panicked when she saw blood flowing out her private part “J-Jin…”
“Shh you’ll be ok…don’t worry…” Jin kissed Yuna’s cheek as if that would really calm her
When they arrived at the hospital, the doctor checked on Yuna right away. After the check up she brought her inside her own private room
“That was a close call…” The doctor said
“Close call to what?” Ryo asked as he looked at Yuna who was also eager to know what just happened to her
“We almost lost the baby, but good thing the guys brought you here right away…” The doctor smiled at Yuna
“B-baby??!!” Both Yuna and Jin shouted
“Yes…you are one week pregnant, and I’d say that for the first 3 months please be really really careful because that is the most critical time of pregnancy. Ok…looks like everything is ok now. You can be discharged after tomorrow…”
“Thanks doctor…” Yuna smiled as she held on her tummy
“You’re welcome…please do take a rest…” the doctor said as he left the room
“Jin…our baby” Yuna called her baby’s father who’s currently at lost
“JIN! For goodness sake!!! You’re going to be a father!!” Pi called his best friend
“Congrats man!!!!” Ryo shouted
“I…I’m…baby…I will have a baby?” Jin looked at Yuna
“Well…if you recall what happened last week…then I guess yeah this is your baby…” Yuna smiled
“I don’t know what to say…” Jin whispered
“I won’t force you to take responsibility of course…I can raise my baby by myself…”
“What?! you think I’ll let you do that?!” Jin stood up “We’ll get through this together…” Jin assured Yuna “I’ll take responsibility of my actions…”
Jin decided to stay overnight with Yuna, so Pi, Ryo, and Ueda suggested that they should go get them some stuffs. Kazuya though was appointed to stay with Jin and Yuna while the other 3 were gone…
When Yuna finally managed to get some sleep, Jin heard 2 angry stomachs growling like a mad dog. With that, he invited Kazuya to eat at the cafeteria downstairs
“Gomen ne? we didn’t get to finish our dinner a while ago…” Jin apologized
“it’s ok…at least she’s safe…your baby is safe…”
“Well I want to congratulate you again…I hope you and Pi will be happy”
“Congratulations to you too…I know it’s always been your dream to be a father…I know you’d be a really good one…”
“Thank you…and I will really make sure that I’d be a good father to my baby…but Yuna, I don’t think I can marry her…”
“But….”
“Yes we did it, but I seriously don’t remember, that’s why I feel bad…”
“…”
“I’d be honest with you. I’ll feel more complete if I have you in my arms. Not that I don’t love my unborn child, but I guess I’ll miss you…” Jin showed his ex-lover a fake smile
“I guess we weren’t meant to be together in the first place. After all, it was all just a proposal right? The contract to make Ueda-san jealous…”
“Yeah…funny how things went. How I managed to forget Ueda and fall for you…those are the memories I’ll never forget…” Jin chuckled “but there’s one thing I hope you could do for me…”
“What is it?”
“Here…” Jin gave Kazuya the other half of the (heart) necklace that Kazuya gave Jin. “Please keep this….treat it as the memory that we both love and someday…just maybe things will go our way and we could unite the two broken hearts…” Jin smiled as he checked on his cell phone “Oops I got a message from Yuna. She said she’s hungry. I guess it’s time for me to go ne? want to come?” he invited the other one
“Sure…”
Just before they enter Yuna’s room, Jin felt warm arms embracing him from behind
“If…if only I met you before Pi…maybe things didn’t have to be this complicated. Maybe we could’ve enjoyed our time freely…I will miss you Jin…” Kazuya cried as he tightened his hug on Jin
“Kazuya?” A familiar voice called him
Both Jin and Kazuya turned to the owner of the voice
“Pi…”
