[Fic] The Fated Proposal
Chapter 12
It’s been a week since Jin and Kazuya officially ended their “relationship”. Kazuya also got used to seeing Jin and Yuna together, but what surprised him was when he heard Jin and Yuna sing together. It is as if the two were made for each other.
He was passing by the auditorium when he heard the wonderful blending of voices, so he decided to peek in. What he saw was Jin and Yuna singing together on the stage with Ryo playing the guitar, and Ueda playing the piano.
Jin felt Kazuya’s presence, and when Kazuya realized this, he ran away. Jin though followed the younger one until both of them couldn’t run anymore.
“You were watching…” Jin said as he was trying to catch his breathe
“Well I happened to pass by so…well whatever…why do I have to explain?”
“Nothing…I was just glad that…never mind…look about what happened…”
“It’s over right? Jin…I know it would anyway…the two of us shouldn’t be together in the first place…”
“No you don’t understand…I…”
“Jin…many people loves you while Pi is all alone. I realized this when he called me yesterday and told me how much he feels so unloved…Pi needs me…as much as I need love too…”
“But I…”
“Yuna-san is there and Ueda-san too. They both love you and I think you should treasure that…don’t worry about me…because I’d continue my relationship with Pi. I know Pi needs me more than anyone else…” Kazuya smiled as he excused himself
“You’re stronger than I thought Kazuya and I’m grateful for that. Although it hurts that I can’t be with you, at least I know that you will go to that one person I trust…Pi take care of him…” Jin let the tears fall down
*~~* Back to the auditorium
Jin went back, trying to ignore his friends’ question as to why his eyes were red.
They were about to begin rehearsing again when the 4 of them received a text message from an unknown number, telling them to go to an Italian restaurant at exactly 6pm
“Eh? But who is this? I suggest we all don’t go. What if it’s some kind of a maniac or something…” Ueda said
“Oh come on Tat-chan we’re with two strong guys. I bet they can manage…” Yuna smiled as she looked at Ryo and Jin
“Yuna is right. I mean we should go. Isn’t weird enough that this weird person knows our number? Maybe it’s someone we know…” Ryo said as he put his arms around Ueda’s waist
So the 4 of them decided to go.
*~~* 6pm at the Italian restaurant
“Pi…you came home without even telling me. Suddenly there you are, waiting for me in front of our school gate…” Kame complained
“Gomen…well it’s not called surprise if I tell you right away that I’ll be home today right?” Pi smiled as he kissed Kame’s cheek, causing the younger one to blush
“But ne…how come there’s so many chairs? There’s just the two of us right?”
“nope…coz here they are…” Pi smiled as he waved at his four friends
“Eh???!!!” Was all Jin, Ueda, Yuna, and Ryo could say
“Gomen for surprising all of you…” Pi smiled as he invited his friends to have a seat
“Fuck Pi…you scared us to death. We thought it was someone who wanted to kidnap us…” Ryo said
“Sorry I forgot to inform you guys that I changed my number…”
“Ne Pi? Why didn’t you tell us you’re coming back today?” Jin asked as he looked at both Pi and Kazuya
“coz it’s a surprise…” Pi said “also I have another surprise to announce…” Pi then turned to look at Kame and kissed him on the lips “Baby, I finally managed to let my parents accept you. With that, will you marry me?” he proposed as he showed Kame the ring “I love you…”
Jin stared at Kame who’s also stealing glances of him.
“But Pi…I…”
“Next week. Next week I’ll have to go back to Vegas, so please come with me and marry me there. I know we’re not legal here, but we are in Vegas, so please marry me…”
Jin smiled at Kazuya and nodded. Although he was smiling, Jin of course could feel the pain
“Yes Pi…I will marry you…” Kazuya smiled as he hugged Pi “I guess it’s really time for me to try and be happy…”
