GOOD times
this week has been so incredibly relaxing. I can hardly describe how nice it's been to get enough sleep, not be stressed, and be as happy as I used to be. and it's not even the break! (actually, I think I won't be as happy over the break, simply b/c I'm such a people person & I won't be around my friends)
a few random good things: playing in Kelly & Jon's recital was SO much fun. I had a fantastic time, and it was totally worth the extra rehearsals at weird hours (10 pm on a Tuesday night?). Founder's Day Social on Tuesday was also really good times. I was happier than I've been in a long time around Phi Sig people, and that was awesome. also, telling Caity & Emily about two of my guy problems was nice. oh, & gossip time with both Emily & Caity!!! hehehe, we are so silly.
but the best of all times was had on Wednesday night.
Steven drove me back from fencing, since he was at Ramsey climbing. we were talking about how there used to be a climbing wall over at the forestry school, so we decided to go look for it. thus began the adventure! we looked for things to climb, including attempts at the forestry building & a tree outside of it. after some failure, we decided that it would be awesome to wander around the entire campus in this same vein of activity, only without our stuff. thusly, we got Jared to climb a tree with us... but then he left. fortunately, we did encounter Philip & Caity & then we really went around campus!!!! we attempted the physics building (unsuccessfully b/c of locked doors), but we did climb the chemistry & biology buildings. SO MUCH FUN!!!! Philip & Steven had to physically haul me up to this one part of the chem building... it was crazy. I decided that Philip & I should salsa on the roof of the bio building, so we did. it was amazing fun. after that stuff, we wandered around North Campus, where we found Denmark Hall, an empty fountain on Herty Field, and the beauty of the Founder's Garden. it was one of those times when I could never describe how happy I was... b/c this kind of random adventure is EXACTLY why I love my friends, love college, love life! I can't explain. if you don't get it, then I'm sorry. in any case, that grand adventure (which words cannot adequately describe) ended at 2 am or so, and ordinary times were had during the day.
the night, however, proved interesting. at some point, Jared & Steven were hanging out in our room (normal occurrence), then Steven decided to lie down on my bed (really odd occurrence)... so of course this somehow started a pillow war in which Steven & I were trying to shove the huge fuzzy/fluffy pillow or the giant stuffed dog (or both, but mostly the dog) in each other's faces. it was ridiculous, and ridiculously funny. at some point, Jared began trying to take pictures. now, I HATE people taking pictures of me, so this was a war. Steven tried to hold me down so Jared could take pictures, but my goal was to use Steven as a shield. SO funny. then we watched MST 3000's Jungle Goddess, which was also silly. then I went to the St. Patty's social, which was amusing but not nearly as much fun as pillow fights.
so... yeah... happiness :)
