Finally got around to making something for theiconquest! This is for Chapter Two's Hard challenge. I've chosen fan_cifully as my inspiration. I love the clean, minimalistic style she has; it is super gorgeous, and it never fails to churn out fantastic icons! I know her negative space is the cool and hip thing (and really, her negative space is fantastic), but I also really, really, really love her more intimate closer crops which is what I've mainly focused on in my set below. It also took me a bit to hit something that was similar to that smooth quality her icons have as well. Definitely not the easiest style to nail, and er, I'm not sure how well I do with imitation (especially of more minimal styles) because I want to make everything glow, oops. Also, at one point I got a little paint/texture happy, and they started to look like 12feethigh's work? I don't know how that happened, but I'm cool with that, haha. Just wanted to give credit where credit is due for that inspiration! They're located in the extra section though. ALSO, ALL THE CASTLE FEELS. So you can expect me to start hassling everyone I know to make me Castle icons. Just saying.
