Winter sucks/ I forgot to blog/do you read this?

Well, it's that time again....not to sure how many people read this...if you do...leave a comment or something....

It's winter time in Iowa! Alot of Iowa got hit with snow/freezing rain and rain today. I really hate scraping off ice on the windows of my car when it's cold as hell and windy out. I'm going to move to Hawaii sometime in the future....

Not much else going on. Working full-time at my regular job. I took off last Friday as I had some vacation time left. I enjoyed my 3-day weekend.

I forgot to blog about the last IPW show I refereed, so here we go...

The IPW Vault was rockin' on Saturday, 11/22/2008 in Algona, Iowa for the Impact Pro Wrestling show! Chairs from the locker room had to be given up for all of the fans in attendance. Here are the results from the show:

Impact Pro Wrestling
Saturday, 11/22/2008
IPW Vault in Algona, Iowa

Ring Announcer: Chuck Shockley

Referee: Senior IPW Referee Billy J.

1) "The Punk Rock Icon" Tony Sly defeats T.S. Aggressor. A good first-meeting match between these two. The crowd was loud in this opening match. The masked, Mr. F, made his entrance and T.S. Aggressor was distracted by him. Tony Sly then hit T.S. Aggressor with his finishing move, which is a version of the neckbreaker to pick up the win.

2) A.J. Smooth defeated Justin Decent (w/ Suzie). The IPW crowd kept yelling to A.J. to pull his trunks up as he was showing off his thong. Suzie was watching from the corner of the ring until Smooth came over and started flirting with her and then layed a huge kiss on her. This fired up Justin Decent and he started taking out Smooth. Justin and Suzie even hit a double suplex. Justin was about to hit his finishing move when A.J. Smooth got out of it and rolled him up for the win.

3) Supa Cito Kid defeated "The One Night Stand" Shawn Roman (w/ T.S. Aggressor). This was another first-meeting match. Supa Cito hit his signature moves during the match. I've been told T.S. Aggressor interfered at times when I was distracted by Roman. The finish came when Roman tapped out to a submission hold by Supa Cito Kid.

4) 4-Way Elimination Tag Team Match: Winners win the IPW Tag Team Titles. The Participants were: Anthony Draven/The Big Picture, Cool & Unusual (Ugly and Nicky Free), Flav/Marshall Scott 2.0 and IPW Tag Team Champions Ian Wellington/James Jeffries. A lot of action during this match. A lot of tags and double teams as well. A highlight of the match was when there was a 5-man suplex. Anthony Draven/Big Picture were eliminated first. Cool & Unusual were then eliminated next. The end of the match came when Flav stated he broke his wrist when his missed his signature move, The Flavor of Love. Ian turned on his partner, James Jeffries, by pushing him into an awaiting Marshall Scott. Marshall Scott then hit his finishing move to win the IPW Tag Team Titles. NEW IPW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: Flav and Marshall Scott 2.0. James Jeffries was being beat up by the 3 when Ugly (with his Ugly Stick) and Nicky Free ran out to make the save.

Intermission - 15 min.

Chuck Shockley introduces Matty Starr. Matty Starr announces a match between Ian Wellington and James Jeffries at the next show. Chuck Shockley introduces Mr. F. Mr. F talks to the crowd but T.S. Aggressor appears and wants to take the mask off of Mr. F. He then brings out Draven/Big Picture to help take off his mask. Mr. F. takes out Draven and Big Picture. Chuck Shockley even hits a clothesline on one of them. Matty Starr announces another match at the next show with a stipulation. Mr. F. versus T.S. Aggressor. Mr. F says if he loses, he will take off his mask. If he wins, Shawn Roman must kiss T.S. Aggressor. The crowd started yelling "Pucker Up! Pucker Up!"

5) 1st Main Event: IPW Heavyweight Champion Montoya X defeated IPW Extreme Champion Project Matthew. Extreme Rules for the IPW Heavyweight Championship. This match had action in and out of the ring. Project Matthew got thrown into the steel garage door and then had a trash can smashed in his head. Montoya X took a chair out of Project Matthew's hands and was going to use until Matthew kicked the chair in Montoya X's face. The end of the match came when Montoya X hit a frog splash off the top rope onto Project Matthew to pick up the win.

6) 2nd Main Event: No DQ Match, Havyk defeated Wicked Lester Brody. A lot of heat between these two as of late. Some of the action spilled outside of the ring at times. After Havyk hit a move, some of the IPW heel wrestlers ran out and started attacking Havyk. Havyk hit a spear on one wrestler but then it was too much as more wrestlers started taking him out. Some of the IPW faces ran out to help out Havyk and cleared the ring. After all the wrestlers cleared, Havyk and Wicked Lester Brody were left standing in the ring. The end came as Wicked Lester Brody was about to finish off Havyk with his finishing move but Havyk got out of it. Havyk irish whipped Wicked Lester Brody into a ring corner and then speared Brody to pickup the win.

A great show at the IPW Vault. It was cold outside but the IPW Vault was HOT inside. The sold-out crowd was into every match throughout the night!

Next IPW Vault Show: December 20th, 2008

I have refereed 85 matches in 16 shows for 2008. One more show is scheduled for 2008. That almosts averages to 6 matches per show which is common for me.

No news on the WWE or TNA front. Maybe no news is good news. Or probably not.

That's all for now!
