Last show for 2006 in the books!
It's that time again!
Not much has happened in the life of Billy J. since my last update.
I worked all of the week at my regular job. I received a $5 lottery ticket and $5 gift certificate for our cafeteria for being a great worker. I enjoy my job, even though I'd rather be reffing for WWE or TNA.
On Saturday, I packed my gear bag and headed for Algona, Iowa to ref the last IPW show in the IPW Vault for the year of 2006. I can't wait for 2007! Here is what happened...

Algona, Iowa
1) T.S. Aggressor defeated Supa Cito Kid. (I ended up throwing Mr. Destiny from ringside due to interference)
2) Johny Fitness defeated A.J. Smooth
3) Star Spangled Badasses (Project Matthew and Havyk) defeated 2nd Coming (Chance Cordova and Vin Cross)
Intermission
4) Tony Sly defeated Rory Fox
5) Matty Starr defeated Montoya X
6) Fans Bring the Weapons Battle Royal...Winner: A.J. Smooth and Montoya X (tied, both hit the ground at same time)
Overall, it was a great show with a full house in attendance. The best match for the crowd overall was the Battle Royal. Weapons included: bowling ball, basketball, spatula, VCR, tape player, telephone, baseball bats, crutches, a weed whacker and etc.
In the process of the match, I ended up being double chopped by T.S. Aggressor on the outside and tossed in the ring, which I immediatley got myself out of there.

It's been a great 2006. I've gotten the honor to work with TNA Superstars Traci Brooks and Jerry Lynn. I also worked a show with Former WWE Women's Champion Molly Holly (aka Nora Greenwald). I also got to referee a show in front of wrestling legends: "The Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase, Harley Race, Terry Funk, Nikita Koloff, Larry Henning, Bob Roop and Percival A. Friend.
I also got to work with future superstars, Mike and Ted Dibiase (sons of "Million Dollar Man" Ted Dibiase).
I can't wait for 2007. Hopefully I'll be able to reach the dream I strive for...to become a WWE or TNA Referee!
My next show booked is for January 6th, 2007 for a new, upcoming promotion in Iowa, Central Empire Wrestling, in West Chester, Iowa!
