Post IPW in Delta Results and car fixed!

Dec 03, 2006 12:10

I'm back to update since it's been about 2 weeks, so here is the latest...

Well, finally got my car back. It took almost a week. The total cost of my car... $3500. The gasket blew and took out the starter and anti-freeze got in the pistons. It sucked without my car. I had to rely on my Dad to take me to work and pick me up. At least I'm within walking distance to Subway, McDonalds, Papa John's, gas station and Happy Chef. You never know how much you rely on your car until you don't have it. Thank God I didn't have any shows due to Thanksgiving.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, I went with my Dad to western Iowa on Thanksgiving and met up with some other family members at a Thanksgiving buffet restaurant. The food was alright, not as good as Grandma used to make when she was alive. Oh well!

I finally got my car back on Saturday (Nov. 25th). I was happy to be able to drive Wal-Mart and the mall! On Sunday, I drove all over the place. FREEDOM!

This past Thursday, my car wouldn't start in the morning. I thought I had left a light on but found out the new starter in the car stopped working. My car had to be towed back to where it got fixed and they replaced the starter and put a new car battery in.

On Saturday (Dec. 2nd), I drove down to Delta, Iowa for Impact Pro Wrestling's show. Here is what happened:

Impact Pro Wrestling
Saturday, 12/02/06
Delta, IA

1) T.S. Aggressor defeated Latin Thunder to be the last entry in the 20 Man Ladder Royal.

2) Johny Fitness defeated Mr. Destiny by DQ. Mr. Destiny grabbed me and I called for the bell for putting his hands on me.

3) 2nd Coming (Chance Cordova/Vin Cross) defeated Havyk and Project Matthew.

Intermission

4) Matty Fitness defeated Rory Fox.

5) 20 Man Ladder Royal...Winner: AJ Smooth

138 matches reffed in 2006...

The show was pretty good except for some technical difficulties. The middle ring rope broke during the 1st match. As T.S. and Latin Thunder battled outside, the ring crew switched the bottom rope for the middle rope and the next 2 matches were took place with only a Top and Middle rope. It made it interesting, but also made it easier to enter the ring from the outside. The rope was fixed in intermission and was up and ready to go for the 4th match and the Ladder Royal.

We had a good crowd on hand, though quite a few people showed up around 7pm instead of the bell time at 6pm. Oh well! At least they showed up and stayed.

2 guys scheduled to show up for the show did not. Ace Steel and Mike Dibiase. I heard rumors of a snowstorm.

On my way back to Cedar Falls, my driver's side headlight burned out, so I drove almost the rest of the way with my hi-beams on. Luckily I did not see one cop otherwise I might have gotten pulled over.

Now it's Sunday and I'm going to get my headlight replaced and just relax today. I might even watch the ECW PPV tonight.

My next show booked is for Impact Pro Wrestling in Algona, Iowa on Saturday, December 9th! Should be a great show! I got to check out the commercial that was filmed at the last show and got see me in there a few times reffing. Hopefully we'll get some new recruitments!

Nothing from WWE or TNA. I'll just keep praying and waiting for something to happen with either of them.

That's all for now!
