Brrrr!
So last weekend was pretty chill. Friday night Jon and I stayed in and ordered Chinese food. It was a perfect night to just relax and be with each other. We postponed our Thai food date to another time for good reason.
Saturday afternoon, Lora and I went to the Village Vitner Winery on Randall and did some wine tastings. We both got 2 bottles of our favorites and then headed to Vino 100 to do another wine tasting. It was a blast! We learned a lot about wine and got to try a lot of delicious kinds! After that, we went to Houlihan's to split an appetizer. After I dropped Lora off at her house, I drove to Justice for Lisa's birthday party. She made a ton of food, as usual, and I stayed for a bit to catch up for everyone. I was feeling pretty worn out though, so I left a bit early and then stayed in with Jon the rest of the night.
Sunday Jon and I did a quick power clean. We had to be in Oakbrook at 5:15 for Lisa's birthday dinner, so we left a little early so that we could hit a few stores on the way. We went to Bed, Bath & Beyond and got a wonderfully fantastic huge warm blanket for the couch (which i'm in love with) and then to Sears so I can get some new shoes. YAY! Finally shoes that won't make me slip everywhere! After that, we went to Maggianos and had a very filling family style dinner for Lisa's birthday. We got home around 8 and then pretty much chilled out the rest of the night.
Well, that's about it! No pics this weekend, but there's always next! :)
