I'd totally forgetten, until someone reminded me on my way home today. Which is lucky, or I'd actually have gone to school tomorrow. The past few weeks have been an absolute blur, the kind where any measurement of time becomes completely meaningless. Unless it's about how many hours you have left before your next paper is due. Hopefully I'll get some actual work done this weekend.
My feet and toes are tingling. It's been happening a lot recently, especially when I don't get any sleep at night. I think I have poor blood circulation or something. Cause I'm also freezing to death, even though it's about 15 C outside, and sunny. (Best thing about living in Vancouver, by the way, the fact that it actually feels like spring on when it's supposed to in March.)
I watched Cool Money last night. It almost made me cry. Why, James. Why. The utterly bland script and direction, the gratingly annoying supporting cast that made me want to hit mute and avert my eyes every time they were onscreen, the almost complete lack of plot direction, not to mention character development. When a guy's defining characteristic is the way he chews gum, for example, I think maybe you have a problem. Gaaah. It was an actual relief to get back to studying for my soc midterm afterwards. JM was quite good, though, unsurprisingly. And pretty, despite bigheadedness and bad haircuttiness. I still maintain that hair is the ultimate make-or-break quality in physical attractiveness. Oh, and I'm almost certain I saw my best friend's house, in one of the establishing shots of his new neighbourhood. Have to double check.
Pet peeves of the day:
1. People who use five times more paper towel to dry their hands than they actually need. Especially when the garbage is already overflowing, literally, with everyone else's excess waste. Way to be conscientious about the environment. Even in the greenest of green provinces. Gah.
2. People who use Fahrenheit. And expect the entire rest of the world to understand.
And to offset the random bitchiness, one thing I like. The new Golden Oreos. Which are actually the old vanilla Girl Guide cookies, cleverly disguised. An entire chunk of my childhood just came back to me. So good! And now I've been up for about 32 hours, so enough with the weirdness, and on to the sleep.
