new laptop!
so, it's been a while since I upgraded, so I have ordered a new netbook from Newegg.

This is slightly less than I paid for my previous netbook. Unfortunately, Asus decided for whatever reason to stop making a model with Linux for the OS, so it comes with windows 7. Fortunately, it's 7 pro, not 7 starter. I can't imagine why any sane eprson would want 7 starter considering it doesn't even have the capacity to change the background.
Anyway, I'm expecting delivery of my new laptop next week. I'm hoping that it will be able to function as a decent drawing tablet, because then I will have a better chance of actually doing some drawing.
