SURVIVAL!!!!
Ok so I survived Hurrican Ivan!!! I got back in Mobile today. We are still without power back home and my dad was driving me NUTS!!! Luckily though we still had water and we have a generator. My neighbors got it pretty bad. Several trees were uprooted around their house. One which is between my house and their's, split in 2 and barely missed the edge of the house. But on the other side one of the trees that was uprooted came on their carport which collapsed and totaled their truck!!! On my road alone there were 10-15 trees uprooted.
My cousin's house, the roof came off so needless to say everything in there is ruined. Her mother-in-law luckily didnt' stay at her own home...cuz a tree fell right slap dap in the middle of it!! I mean it is catastrophic! And that was up north in SweetWater and Demopolis, AL. Pensacola and Gulf SHores is pretty much no more now. Completely destroyed!! And the bridge on interstate 10 collapsed...therefore people are stuck there.
Classes start back on Monday which i think is ridiculous. Due to the fact that over half of Alabama has no power or water, same for Florida. One of my friends roommates is from Pensacola. Because of I-10 being down...he has to travel all the way to north alabama and come back down south. He won't be at school until bout tuesday or wednesday!! But good ol' south is gonna be up and runnin of course...damn bastards of assholes!!! And it w3ouldn't surprise me if the electricity goes out....I say this cuz within these past few minutes I've been typing this the lights and electricity is trying to flicker out!!!
But anyways....I hope everyone else came through this tragedy alright. Hope to see all this week at school.
