me scared
Yeah....so....school was let out today and there was a mandatory evacuation of the dormatories AND we don't return until MOnday...unless otherwise noted.. AND of course my room and dorm on the bottom floor is a FLOOD ZONE!!!! So i had to move everything off the floor. This is where everyone wishes their beds were on cinder blocks!!! hehe. So i hot-tailed it back to sweetwater. I loaded my car down with everything i could fit in it. I left some clothes, the tv, and my pillows. But of course i would go NOWHERE without my 24in POOH BEAR!! I even buckled him in the front seat on the way home. :) (i know, i'm such a loser!!) who cares! But I left out the same time as my buds jonathon, zach, and michael who live above me in the dorms. They are from thomasville and millry. it was comforting to not travel alone and thought that was really sweet of them.
anyways...so this Hurricane Ivan is supposed to be no joke. It was a category 5 yesterday. TOday it's a 4. But they are predicting that it will gain strength again when it reaches inland because of the high temp. Usually when it reaches inland it begins to wind down. But i guess not this go round. My daddy is freakin out...in the mornin i gotta go do all these errands and pick up all this shit that they shoulda already done. Oh well...it'll get me outta the house for a little while before i'm on lock down.
It's funny how when it seems that things are gettin bad how people you hardly talk to call to make sure you are alright. That's how you truly know that people care for you. I feel loved and appreciated.(at least at the moment). And just when you think you are in a "slump" all kinds of options are thrown at ya. But the hard part is making a decision.
