Blast from the past
Well it's been quite a wait, but Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver are finally out! And from what I can tell so far, it has been worth the wait!
Of course, I got both.
I recently started playing through gold (which will be my "main" game). Picked Cyndaquil as I always did, and also picked the boy trainer cause I like him better. :P Right now I'm leaving Azalea Town and I got a Quilava and a Spinarak as my team. Unsure of what the others will be...
For the most part, the game seems to be staying pretty faithful to the originals, but there's a lot that different too. First thing I noticed is the gyms. Azalea gym was amazing. I like how they added puzzles to them and made them more interesting. Also, having the first Pokemon in your party follow you around is pretty cool. It's fun to talk to them and see what they are feeling. Some of them are pretty funny. :D
