Why I Love It: There's about eighteen different timelines in this fic - it's a giant tangle of potential futures, disregarded futures, new histories, and diverted lifelines. It's wonderful. Buffy thinks she's managed to live into a happily ever after... only for more time travel malarky to screw things up again. And of course, like in the rest of the series, I used the Number 1 song from the Billboard Top 100 - for 1973, it was Tie A Yellow Ribbon..., which was particularly appropriate for this fic because the act of tying a ribbon is an act of remembrance: remembering Buffy's past, remembering the future she's trying to avert, remembering the timeline Logan lost. (The effect for Charles' telepathy in this one is different from the rest of the podfics in this series, as I no longer have those settings on my new laptop - but hopefully, it's still an effective use of vocal filters to convey his mutation.) Happy listening!
