Why I Love It: Faith's voice is so vivid, here, and it's always fun to play around with characters' reactions to meeting the Doctor for the first time (incredulity! sarcasm! general mayhem!) - I've actually had this story bookmarked to be podficced since Awesome Ladies Podfic Anthology III (when the mods tightened up the rules so that only fics less than 1500 words could be inclued in the anthology... that was a harsh blow). So instead of recording this for an anthology, this fic lurked on my To Be Podficed Soonish list for three years. But then I recorded it as a birthday gift for pprfaith and forgot to post, and now it's the nearly-end of Amplificathon 2015 and I'm finally sharing this gen with the general public. For the coverart, I wanted to recreate the end scene of this stor - the TARDIS is phasing out of existence, and Faith is still swearing her incredulity out into the universe. It's a perfect scene, and I can only hope I brought it all to life here. (Also, crossovers are my jam.)
