i actually LIKE work?

So now I'm a full-time, 7 days a week worker. Five days a week are at BICO, where I've worked the past three summers, at a "camp" for kids with special needs... but this year, it's AWESOME, because insead of 6-yr olds with behavioral problems, I'm working with teenagers who are soooo sweet and funny and sociable. Elina works in my classroom, too...we were wondering how on earth that happened, since there are like 20 different rooms, but now we think it's because the guy assistant teacher in our room is going to PC next year, and his mom just happens to be the boss of the entire collaborative....coincidence that mommy put him in a room with two people who already go to PC??> I think not... lol. Also, he happens to know EMILY HAYES!!!! I guess they worked at TYT together or something? haha anyway, my days there basically involve hanging out with the kids, doing an hr of academics with them, then going to the pool. I LOVE this job...

Then, on the weekends, I'm working as an intern for Spinnaker Group- they're a real estate marketing firm, and so far my job has been sitting in a gorgeous, fully furnished model condo and giving people tours of the home. They pay amazingly well- especially for an internship- and for the first time I'm at a job that I could truly see myself doing as a career. It's different every day, and you get to meet tons of people all the time, and so far, I really love it!

So, alll of my complaining and worrying at the start of the summer were apparently all for nothing. Maybe I was supposed to get rejected from all the other internships I applied for because I was meant to get this one...I mean, what other internship would let me keep BICO till august and then work for them? It's too good to be true...and I'm starting to think that maybe things really do happen for a reason.

Tomorrow = BICO... I THINK next I have next weekend off, because there are no model homes open for me, so I will have to try to enjoy this and plan optimal amounts of fun. In Mansfield, that SO shouldn't be a problem.

Also- yesterday I went to the "creperie" on thayer st...that is something from school that I missed WAY too much.
