truro
This weekend was a lot of fun. On Saturday I went to Truro, the town right outside Provicetown down the cape, and I stayed at Ian's house for two nights. I love his house down there-it's so "Beachy" lol... I dunno I just love the whole atmosphere down there. Maybe one day I'll be able to have a summer house down there too... maybe.
The weekend basically involved lots of lounging and talking. Ian went surfing for hrs yesterday, so Kateri and I "tanned" at the beach...well, she tanned, I burned very very badly. We also went to the beach Saturday night, and just looked at the stars and talked for an hour. It was really relaxing.
We made two trips to P-town... if you haven't experienced that wonderful place, you should. My favorite pictured drag queen was probably Hedda Lettuce. lol We had lunch in P-town and shopped a little, then the rest of the day was spent watching movies, visitng Ian's friends, getting ice cream, and swinging on a swingset near the beach after driving aimlessly for hours just listening to music.... awesome weekend.
Only negative- my car broke down on the way home. I think I ran out of oil. oh well.
Also, it took me 4 hrs to get there on Saturday, because the traffic was SOOOOOO bad.
But it was worth it.
And I just got home from the Walpole fireworks...not very exciting, but a 4th tradition.
One more day off and then my two jobs begin. I can't wait to start the internship...hopefully I like it!
