I should be reading right now, since I was supposed to have the book finished tomorrow and I still have 60 pages to go. But honestly, no one else in my class ever has the reading done on time, so I'm gonna go with the crowd and just finish the book for Wednesday's class.
Anyways, last weekend was pretty good. Friday night was the hockey game against Boston College, our biggest rivals, and we tied...woot. Then Saturday I worked at the bookstore until 3, and then Kateri made her friend Tommy come to pick Elina and me up and drove us to Bryant University (that sounds so weird!), where we watched a bball game, got some pretty good food from this small restaurant on the campus, and hung around in the lounge waiting to finalize plans. Then, Kateri, Elina, Tommy, Ryan, and I decided to hit up the mall. We saw "Coach Carter," which was really good, except I was extremely tired and just wanted the movie to end so I could go to sleep. The boys didn't want to see "the Wedding Date," even though that was our initial plan. Go figure...
Then on Sunday, my mom and sister came down to visit me. We went shopping and I bought my semi-dress and some new shoes, and I was very happy. The semi is on the 18th and I can't wait!T hank God Kateri's friend Mike is coming, because we needed a guy who would be willing to dance.
As for this week, I have A TON of work to get done...finishing "Tom Jones," doing lots of civ reading that I didn't do last week, writing two articles for journalism, studying for a civ quiz... But hopefully the week will fly by, cause this weekend is a hockey game against BU and, on Saturday, I'm hopefully going clubbing with my favorite girls (and maybe Tommy? who knows.) But that has the potential to be way tres fun. I always have great weekends though...my friends are amazing, and it's great that I don't need to "party" to have fun.
Okokok, I need Elina Chris to call me right now before I go insane! And I need to finish reading. peace out.
